This year is Parker’s 1st Halloween! I have been so excited about dressing her up that I started looking for costumes as soon as she was born (and because I had 8 weeks off with a sleeeeeping baby so I had a lot of free time). All the costumes I found were for baby’s 6 months and up so it took a lot of looking and I finally found…..the little Pink Monster ;-) She was the cutest monster I have ever seen!
Every year my work puts on an adult Halloween costume contest & pizza lunch and then later in the day we get to bring our kids up and they go around to all the offices and trick or treat. I loved seeing all the precious kiddos in their fun outfits! I dressed up as a “cereal killer” for the adult contest and actually won the contest! I also enjoyed watching a lot of the little kids get really spooked by the grim reaper, I know that sounds bad, but it was rather amusing. I guess it won’t be so amusing when Parker actually realizes that’s scary! Parker made it about 20 minutes and then passed smooth out in my arms. I wish her daddy could have seen her all dressed up, though we sent pictures! He comes home tomorrow so we will dress her up again for all the fun events :)
