Weekend!

Saturday morning we had our final weigh in for WTL. I ended up losing a total of 18.6 lbs and 22 inches. I definitely got to my goal weight but it wasn't quite enough to win. The winner was a 12 year old boy which made it pretty exciting, I was very happy for him. I just found out today I came in 4th place, so close to 3rd but I am so happy I was a part of this competition. I couldn't have done it on my own. I did sit and pig out after the weigh in, well it 2 days later and I am still pigging out :)

Saturday afternoon we went to a BBQ at Meagan & Scott's. Atleigh & Parker got to ride around together in this red wagon that Parker loved. I know what she will be getting for a birthday present! Meagan got a couple cute pictures that I am excited to see. 

Sunday we had a block party. We live on a cul-de-sac and all the neighbors are very friendly & close. We made hamburgers, hot dogs, all kinds of dips and dessert. There are lots of little kids that played in the sprinklers while the adults sat under the shade and talked. It was so nice to be able to step out your front door and attend a little party. This is the best neighborhood I have ever lived in. Parker of course was the center of attention and was passed around the whole group.

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

Wow, it's like people get pregnant in groups everytime. You hear of someone getting pregnant and then that's all you hear about for the next couple of months. We have many little pregnant mama's around us and we are thrilled for every single family!

First, we have my best friend Shelley (who I mentioned in an earlier post) who is 17 weeks pregnant with a little baby BOY! She is due Ocotober 27th! They don't have a name picked out yet, well Ben has a name picked out and I know it will grow on Shelley sooo maybe they do have a name but it's not offiicial. Madison Kate is going to be a BIG SISTER!

2nd, we have my great friend Calissa that works with me. Calissa is 12 weeks pregnant & due December 12th. Calissa & I met a couple years back when she started with ConocoPhillips. I love that we work with eachother and don't know what I would do without her here everyday with me. Their daughter Bryleigh is 2 1/2 and will also be a BIG SISTER!!

3rd, we have our good friends Gabe & Meg that live in Victoria. We just found out last night that Meg is 6 weeks pregnant and due the middle of January. They have a son Daniel that will be ONE in just a week or so. So Daniel will be a BIG BROTHER!

And last but definitely not least is CARA & LANDON! Cara is 5 weeks pregnant and due January 21st!! Laney Capri is going to be a BIG SISTER and will also be turning 2 next week!! When asked if she wanted a baby she said "No, I want a Dora"...ahhh the cutest thing ever!! We are so happy for them and of course we are excited to have another little niece/nephew!

Congrats to all our pregnant friends & family, we can't wait to be right there with you guys on your journey!!

Raylee's 1st Birthday!

Friday night after the crazy weather settled down we headed over to Nathan & Dene's for their daughter's 1st birthday party....PRINCESS themed! The kids had fun playing together and Dene's mom made cute tutu's for all the girls along with wands & tiara's! I forgot my camera so I stole all these pictures :)

Landon, Cara & Laney came in town on Friday and stayed the night with us. The girls got to play together, take a bath together and Aunt Cara bought them matching PJ's. We'll give Parker a few more months and they will have a great time running around together.

10 Months!

Parker hit 10 months on Friday! What a blessing these 10 months have been & it just keeps getting better. We have already started planning her 1^st Birthday Party! Parker is finally crawling forwards. We were playing one day after work and she just took off. I guess it's true it happens when they are ready. She loves playing with her friend Marlee at daycare.  Marlee is one month younger than Parker and they are the oldest in the class so they get along great together! They are getting moved up to the next class together next week.

At 10 months:

~ eating a variety of foods...some new ones from last month ~ waffles, pancakes, cheerios, cinnamon toast, nutrigrain bars, cookies, bananas, pizza, etc.

~ stands great holding on to things and will get brave and let go to reach for daddy

~ says mama, dada...usually mama though :)

~ 5 teefies; 3 bottom and 2 on the top and has 2 more than just started to pop through today (one more on top and one on bottom)

~ will occasionally wave hi & bye bye

~ super tickelish!

~ likes to drink her bottle sitting up & we have been trying out the sippy cup for bottle time

~ new big girl car seat

~ loves Veggitales & Baby Einstein DVD’s

~ plays patty cake, peek-a-boo and itsy bitsy spider

~ fascinated with her dogs, her & Coop love sharing kisses =)

~ will start dancing to any music, she has some moves!

Mother's Day Weekend

What a blessed mommy I am! I am also blessed to have such an amazing relationship with my momma :) Mother’s Day was perfect. We started out helping with the 2 year olds at church. They are finally getting into a schedule each Sunday so the kids are used to us and we have really grown close to all of them. We spent the whole afternoon with P and we went to visit my mom & grandma. Tanner cooked me a fabulous bacon wrapped filet dinner, had a glass of wine and opened a wonderful gift from my precious baby. Tanner even recorded the whole buying experience with Parker and I laughed so hard watching it. People looked at him like he was crazy and the poor saleswoman couldn’t quit laughing & wanting to hide. I would have looked at him funny too ;) I love my husband & I love that sweet baby girl that calls me “ma-ma”!

Weigh In #4, March for Babies & P

We had our last weigh in before the finale! I wasn't expecting to lose anything, I feel like I am in a "stuck spot". I lost .4 which is better than gaining but kinda disappointing when you lost 3 lbs the couple weeks before. We have 2 1/2 weeks left before the final weigh in and award annoucements. I really want to win the $$$$! Tanner has made out a really rough plan for me over the next 2 weeks. I trust that it will work but I also know I will want to kill him those last few days =) We haven't recieved the email that shows our places so once we get that I will know really how hard I have to work!

Saturday Parker & I went to the March for Babies walk with my work. I have gone the past few years but was excited to take P this time and put the little 2T shirt on her than swallowed her up . She slept the entire time so she didn't get to enjoy seeing all the people like I was hoping =) I also bought some new clothes for myself. Usually I go straight to the baby section but I didn't even look this time. Instead Tanner went shopping and bought her some clothes!

Over the weekend Parker started drinking through a straw which is really cute, makes her look grown up. We also bought 2 new big girl car seats! They should be in today, I'm excited for her to have more room and see us while we are in the car. Tanner had his Police Academy interview today, well right now actually. It's one of the final steps. Thank goodness because he is ready to know the next step and I am ready to know if I get a bigger car ;)
