My friend Erica made this the other night for girls night and it was AMAZINGLY GOOD! I decided to make it last night for dinner and it was just as good & super easy!

Baby Liam is here!

Our little angel arrived July 3rd at 8:08 am.
He weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz and 19 inches long.
He came out with dark skin like his daddy and sister and a head full of dark hair just like his sister did.
At first I thought it was curly but it's pretty laid back compared to what Parker's was so we will see after time if the curls will come out.
The birth morning went so smoothly, Dr Locke and his team were amazing. The nurses at the hospital were so sweet and attentive and the cranberry juice and ice were so addicting...that was the saddest thing to leave behind:)
We went in that morning at 5:30am, got hooked up to my IV, went through 4 bags within an hour (I was pretty dehydrated) and got some alone time with Tanner to just sit and talk during our last hour together before out son was here. We had many laughs as he put on the scrubs. He is a small guy and those scrubs are made for really big men...haha...he looked pretty silly :)
That morning the coolers at the hospital went out so we had to wait a little longer for the OR to get to a safe temp. Luckily I had the scheduled time I did because they had to cancel all other surgeries because it would be too hot. Once I was in there and got my spinal my sweet baby was delivered within 10 minutes then they whisked him & Tanner off to the nursery. Our hospital stay was great and they even let us go home a day early.
Everything at home has been really good. We have had lots of precious family and friends bring us lunch & dinner. Tanner was off a week with us which was really nice, I hated him going back. Parker has been a great big sister but she is also acting out pretty bad and getting in trouble at school and home. Hopefully it's just a phase.
We took Liam to his 1 week weight check and he came in at 8.8 lbs, almost to birth weight. Then we took him back yesterday and he was up to 9.4 so he is definitely a growing boy! he eats 3 to 3.5 ounces every 3 hours and loves his sleep. He is also awake a lot during the day. He is a really good baby just like his sister was, we are very blessed!!
